Data Deletion

In short

You can delete the data ChatVendor holds about you at any time — either yourself, in a few clicks, or by writing to us. This page explains how to delete your ChatVendor account (including one used in the ChatVendor - Business Agent app), and how to remove the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp connections you made through Meta.

1. Delete your ChatVendor account

This applies to accounts on chatvendor.net and in the ChatVendor - Business Agent app for iOS, Android and macOS, both operated by MIRINFO LLC.

  1. Write to info@chatvendor.net from the e-mail address of the account, with the subject Delete my account.
  2. We reply by e-mail to confirm that the request is yours. If you own a workspace, we ask whether to delete it too or hand it over to another member first.
  3. The account is deleted within 30 days of confirmation, and we tell you when it is done.

What is deleted: your profile (name, e-mail, password hash, two-factor secrets), sessions and app sign-in tokens, push notification tokens, sign-in history and your workspace memberships.

What is kept, and for how long: payment records for as long as tax law requires; the workspace audit log for 365 days and API logs for 30 days; encrypted server backups are overwritten within 30 days. Conversations you handled belong to the workspace and stay there unless the workspace is deleted (section 4).

Signing out of the app removes that device's session and push token immediately.

2. Disconnect a Meta account

Sign in to ChatVendor, open Channels, choose the connected WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger channel and press Disconnect. The access token we stored for it is deleted immediately and we stop receiving its messages. An ad account is removed the same way under Ads → Meta. You can also revoke ChatVendor in Facebook under Settings → Business integrations (or Instagram → Apps and websites).

3. Delete conversations and contacts

Any contact can be erased from its card, which removes that person's messages and details from your workspace. Chat history retention is set in the workspace settings.

4. Delete the whole workspace

Workspace settings → Delete workspace permanently removes the workspace, its channels, conversations, contacts, orders and stored tokens. Backups are purged within 30 days.

5. Ask us to do it

If you cannot sign in, write to info@chatvendor.net from the address you registered with, or send the Facebook / Instagram user name that connected the account. We confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, sooner where we can.
